We have made positive efforts to collaborate with overseas researchers.
In 2005, Dr. Shaopeng Houang (Michigan Univ., U.S.), Prof. Yoshio Nakamura (Texas Univ., U.S.),
and Dr. Axel Hagermann (Open Univ., U.K.) visited ISAS.
We could obtain new interesting results for lunar science.
In 2006, Dr. Mark Wieczorek (France) visited ISAS to discuss lunar heat-flow science.
Meanwhile, we often visit other countries for our studies as well.
Also, we are positively considering a joint planetary exploration mission with
U.S., France and Russia, which are really interested in the penetrator
technology.
